Afterwards, all your dealings with the faction will go through Preston Garvey. You get to join the Minuteman at the very beginning of the game, while you do the first few quests in Concord. I still get checkpoint defend calls, but I think the checkpoints don't repopulate if all MM guards are killed. Made myself png with the Institute after the Battle of Bunker Hill (purposely got banished) and then triggered the MM ending by taking the Castle etc. I'm wondering if the sequence I followed has somehow bugged the MM radiant quests (not that I'm unhappy.) I used the RR to access the Institute and then did nothing more for the SJWs. I haven't kept count, but I think I've gone 15-20 levels without a single, radiant quest from Preston, Radio Freedom or MM-allied settlers. Only started the quest in order to prevent Preston dumping Abernathy on me. I offed the raiders at Olivia early on and triggered the Abernathy-related quest, "Returning the Favor". The only settlements I haven't unlocked are Egret Tours and Abernathy. I still receive defend requests for these settlements (long after the end of MQ) I only have 8-9 populated settlements as a result of Preston's quests. Made them into small, travel stop offs instead. I unlocked as many settlements as possible before joining Preston's ragged band.
No settlers have whined about feral ghouls, kidnappings and other woes. Radio Freedom hasn't handed out radiant quests for ages. No "please scurry off and help some whiny settlers" nonsense.
When I speak to Preston, he's uncommonly pleasant. Two mods: one that only affects the Home Plate cell and OC Decorator.
Didn't join the Metal-Clad Crusaders they're still busy fending off Ghouls at College Square (which amuses me no end) I'm Lvl 70 or so. Either that or the Minutemen are sulking.įinished the MQ with the MM.
